CJFR paper featured as “Editor’s Choice”

A 2014 paper with Hugh Safford and Andrew Latimer in the Canadian Journal of Forest Research has been selected as an “Editor’s Choice” publication by the journal. This paper used a large post-wildfire dataset to demonstrate how fuel treatments in Sierra Nevada mixed-conifer and yellow pine forests can confer resilience to first-entry wildfire in a number of areas, including overstory and understory structure and regeneration dynamics.
